Stylish Saturday

I don't know if I'll actually remember to do this, but I'm going to try to bring my weeks creations to you on Saturdays as a regular thing (well, as regular as this blog is, anyway).

A valence for the half bath/my tiny dressing room out of an old, worn-out pair of G--'s brown pinstriped pants. Please ignore the slightly crooked hem. I really like this and think it's funny, G-- isn't overly fond of it. But, he doesn't go in there much, so I guess that's okay for both of us. *grin*

And, a name banner with the power of the Packers for my cousin Ian, who turned six this week. I have a very large family...my oldest cousin is in his 30's, and my youngest is Ian's younger brother, who is about 6 months old. It's crazy to me that my children are both older than my youngest cousin. I love having a huge family, though--we have something going at least once a month, and it's great (yet unbelievable!) watching everyone slowly grow up around me.

PS I also wanted to mention that it snowed today. Absolutely crazy that the kids were outside hacking away at the birthday piñata in the snow!
